If you stack them in about three layers so that there are no gaps around the entrance, you can easily block water of about 10 to 20 cm, which is very useful in emergencies.
In earthquake disasters, there is a risk of walls collapsing. Sandbags can be useful in such cases. For example, if damage is found on a company’s wall after an earthquake, stacking sandbags to support the side can prevent accidents caused by the sudden collapse of the wall. In addition, large earthquakes scatter various objects such as glass, but sandbags are made of strong materials such as polyethylene, so they can be used to dispose of rubble. Sandbags are sold in various types for easy handling. Standard sandbags have a capacity of 20 kg, but 5 kg and 10 kg sandbags that are easy for women and the elderly to handle are also sold. Sandbags made of water-absorbing polymers or thinning materials are designed to naturally expand when they come into contact with water, so they are easy to use and do not require the trouble of filling them with soil. Sandbags can be purchased at a low price, so if your disaster prevention equipment does not include sandbags, we recommend that you prepare some.

They can be used immediately by simply placing them in water such as a bathtub, making them suitable as flood prevention goods in urban areas.
